Safety through a Whatsapp group
Sundari Nanda, special commissioner of police for Women's Safety, Airport and Modernisation, Delhi, spoke about the Whatsapp group that was started by the Delhi Police last year for all those women who travel late at night. "Through the group, women can share a picture of the registry number of the vehicle that they are travelling in. We want a safe working environment and transport facility for our women," she said.
